Alan Goodall scored his third goal of the season last weekend against Bradford before winning the penalty for Parkin’s equaliser, and he does believe we should’ve taken all three points.

Speaking to the Official Site he said that we should have taken all three points, but unfortunately have to be happy with a share of the spoils.

‘I think we deserved to win, the first half we were on top alot, but they have come out in the second with determination. In the end though, they lads came back so that was good.’

Goodall does credit Bradford for the way they approached the second half and he was a it disappointed that our own performance went, but as he applauds the quality of their first goal, he also applauds the way we picked ourselves up and battled back in the end.

As for his third goal of the season he adds.

‘It’s always nice to score. Before this season they had dried up a bit, but scoring is scoring and it’s nice to help the lads out.’

Winding up the interview he does talk a little about the cruel side of football and that it’s unfortunate for Dean Howell to be left out, but he wants to play himself and that’s what competition is all about.
