Highbury Planning Permission Granted

Fleetwood have confirmed that Wyre Borough Council have approved plans for a single story extension on the Memorial Stand.

The work will provide much needed office space for main sponsor Business Energy Solutions. The building work above Jim’s Sports Bar will cost in excess of £1million and is expected to create about 80 jobs.

Our Chief Executive is hopeful that work will begin in a matter of weeks, with the work completed in about 6 months. It’s not expected building works will hamper match days.
