Alexander Reviews Bradford

Graham Alexander has made more comments after reviewing the Bradford game, and he still believes we should’ve taken maximum points.

Speaking to the Official Site after already making his thoughts clear to the media following the game, he said.

‘I’ve watched the game over the weekend and we did enough to win the game outright. But we gave away two sloppy goals. One was a great finish, but should’ve have reached a freekick in that position, the second was just bad defending on our part. We did create opportunities and if we took more care then we could have had a couple more before half time.’

Alexander continues to say that on the balance of play, and the opportunities we had to put the game to bed, he can’t be anything but disappointed with only gaining a point from the game, but there is even a positive in that for him because the team felt the same. Bradford being a tough side and having a cracking cup run, yet we are disappointed to not take the win should be a good lesson for the players in taking their chances.

The other positive, as said, were the chances we created and having opportunities split between the team bodes well for us in Alexander’s mind.
