Wycombe Take Two Date Set

I still can’t believe that it was left until 20-minutes before kick off for the recent Fleetwood game at Wycombe to be called off. The decision was clearly the right one, as you couldn’t play on a frozen pitch, but I still can’t get my head around the decision to leave it so late?

Adam Park was frozen 20-minutes before kick off, and unplayable, so it must have been that case several hours earlier as well so the officials should have made that call much earlier. This was a game being played over the festive period, and on a Sunday after all.

That’s done though isn’t it, I’ve waffled on more than enough about something that’s in the past so let’s look to something that’s the future.

We’ll try this game again in February now, with the rescheduling of this League 2 game confirmed for Tuesday 11th. All tickets will remain valid for this 7.45pm kick off but the travelling numbers are likely to be fewer for this so some refunds will be sought.
