Fleetwood Town yesterday announced the signing of young striker Matty Hughes.
The 21 year old joins us for an undisclosed fee from Skelmersdale United, and Fleetwood can say they have beaten off a number of clubs for his signature, as plenty of Football League teams have been attracted to him this season following his form in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division.
Skelmersdale are currently top of the pile, and Hughes has scored 16 goals across all competitions for them.
He will officially link up with his team mates for training next week, and it’ll be interested to see how he progresses for us.
