Another play-off bid for Fleetwood? Well this certainly moved a step closer when we recorded an impressive win at Sheffield United on Saturday.

Two first half goals left us in control, statistically it might have seemed ‘against the run of play’, but Sheffield United’s goal back in the first half wasn’t enough as we saw our a two-one win at Bramall Lane.

We took the lead just past the midway point of the first half when Morris (25) fired home the opening goal and 10-minutes later this lead was doubled when Haughton (35) continued his impressive breakthrough season with an effort from range.

Sheffield United were quickly back into the game when former Rochdale striker Done (39) got one back but it wasn’t enough as we saw our a potentially pivotal win!

This win sees us move to within two-points of the League 1 play-offs now, while would be a major dent to Sheffield United’s automatic hopes with them dropping 13-points behind Preston in second.
