Which, if former Fleetwood striker Jamie Vardy does make a New Year transfer (simply a future transfer) could see this happen?

Vardy had plenty of ability when he played for the Cod Army with him seemingly destined for the top, which he’s managed and some!

Sold to Leicester Vardy’s now a Premier League record holder an England international and he’s become hot property linked with the likes of Man United, Chelsea and even Real Madrid! These links had been growing even before he scored for an 11th-match running in the Premier League to smash Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record.

If such moves do come off, and in January, remains to be seen but either way should the 28-year-old, who helped Fleetwood into the Football League, leave the King Power Stadium for a fee of £1m or more, which I think we can safely say he will fetch more than seven figures, then 25% of any transfer fee will come the Cod Army’s way!

According to the Daily Mail anyway.

I’ve little, to no, doubt a sell on clause was included in the deal when he left the Highbury Stadium, which if it’s for 25% the more he is sold for, not that I’ll be looking to sell him for Leicester as the Foxes unsurprisingly don’t want to sell, the better!
