The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Wigan Athletic this coming Monday.

Fleetwood Town host Wigan Athletic on Monday December 28 for the game at Highbury Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Carl Boyeson
Linesmen: Anthony Backhouse and Iain Siddall
Fourth Official: Kevin Mattocks

Match Day referee Boyeson (East Yorkshire) has officiated one Fleetwood game this season – the one nil win over Barnsley in October. In that game he showed four yellows, one to Fleetwood.

He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 50 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Crewe Alexandra and Eastleigh in the FA Cup on November 7 with a total of six yellows being shown and one red. He also showed six between Burton and Rochdale in September.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
