The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Shrewsbury Town on Boxing Day.

Fleetwood Town travel to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday December 26 for the game at Greenhous Meadow and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Stephen Martin
Linesmen: Matthew Donohue and Robert Merchant
Fourth Official: Michael D’aguilar

Match Day referee Martin (Staffordshire) is yet to officiate a Fleetwood game this season.

He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Peterborough United and Bury on September 29 with a total of five yellows being shown and one red. He also showed six yellows during the game between Plymouth and Portsmouth back in August.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
