Fleetwood’s League 1 season continued with a three-one defeat against Wigan at the Highbury Stadium on Monday.

Wigan went into half time one-up when Andy Kellett saw his effort slip past ‘keeper Chris Maxwell but, having already then hit the crossbar twice, the Latics were pegged back by Antoni Sarcevic’s penalty.

This looked to have earned the Cod Army a point until Jordy Hiwula and Michael Jacobs both scored in the final 10-minutes to secure the Wigan win.

These were the other results.
