Matty Hughes will have the chance of getting some much needed first team football, which he’s lacked for various reasons signing joining Fleetwood, after going out on loan.

The talented winger has been allowed to sign for non league side Chester.

Graham Alexander, after being impressed by that his scouts told him about Hughes, brought him in from Skelmersdale United at the start of the year yet his chances have been limited but this gives him a good chance to play some football and catch Alexander’s eye again.

Hughes, who could make his Chester debut on Tuesday, will officially complete his switch in the morning and spent the next month away from Highbury.
