Two late goals condemned Fleetwood to defeat on Tuesday as our play-off bid, which had recently been given a major boost, suffered a setback against Coventry at Highbury Stadium.

With a goalless draw looking on Coventry boosted their survival hopes with a goal two-minutes from time and a clinching second deep into injury-time in our two-nil defeat.

On another day perhaps Schumacher’s corner would have been headed home by Proctor instead of being cleared off the line by Stokes, who was in the right place at the right time – then again that’s why you put people on the line isn’t it!

Stokes himself then hit the bar but two-minutes from time Samuel (88) opened the scoring before a rare error from ‘keeper Maxwell literally gifting Nouble (90+5) a second deep into injury-time.

It might have been a defeat but we’re still after our MotM from this game, who was this for you? Select your player in the poll to your right.
