Fleetwood have been boosted by the news David Henen has extended his loan spell until the New Year after his parent club agreed to extend his loan.

The striker has started the last five-matches under Steven Pressley, scoring in the five-one thrashing of Swindon at the Highbury Stadium last month and will stay with the Cod Army until 2nd January.

If the 19-year-old doesn’t remain with Fleetwood beyond this extension it’ll be something of a surprise in some ways but it will come down to what Everton want, with Pressley (and of course Henen) also wanting this.

A new date for the Walsall game, which was called off last Saturday due to heavy rain causing a waterlogged pitch, has also been confirmed.

The Saddlers will now come to the Highbury Stadium (again) on Tuesday 26th January with this a 7:45pm kick-off.
