Fleetwood manager Graham Alexander heads back to Preston North End when we take on one of his most recognisable former clubs at Deepdale on Saturday.

Preston have a string of injury problems with Tom Clarke, Bailey Wright, Scott Wiseman and Calum Woods all doubtful to be fit leading to a recall from a loan spell with Tranmere Rovers for Ben Davies.

Jordan Hugill’s knee and Andy Little (hamstring) aren’t going to be fit either.

Alexander has rated David Ball as only 50-50 to make it after he was injured in the defeat at MK Dons on Tuesday.

This, apart from Jamille Matt (leg), is the only concern that Alexander has ahead of this emotional return to his former club, which he says he isn’t going to let sentiment get in the way of at all.

We’ve lost our last five away games but you wouldn’t bet against us ending this run against the club our manager’s a legend at, which would also bring an end their long undefeated home run.

I’ll be happy with a point though if we can get it.
