Manager Graham Alexander has called on the team to keep our decent home form going when we host Doncaster Rovers this weekend.

Hosting Rovers at Highbury, Alexander knows that we must keep our home form going this season to ensure we pick up points but equally he wants us to return to winning ways following the loss to Colchester in our last match.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, the gaffer said.

‘We’ve been relatively pleased with our form at home but we have to step up our game. Doncaster are a decent team with a lot of experience in their squad, it’ll be a tough match. We’re doing a lot of good things throughout the game at the moment, however we’re not taking the opportunities that we’re creating which doesn’t give us the basis to win games.’

Alexander goes on to say that everyone at the club knows we have to keep working hard and work harder to improve and that’s exactly what we will do, and he knows that goals are the quickest way to change games and whilst we can take plenty of positives, once those goals come everything will look happier.

Obviously though there’s no short term fixes so we have to just keep plugging away until it clicks for us again, and being a former Championship outfit, Doncaster will be a hard game to get back to winning ways in but as ever he has faith in the players to step up.
